Screening and meeting of the documentary ‘Vigneronnes’

The Commune of Finhaut will celebrate International Women's Day on Saturday, March 8, 2025, with the screening of the documentary "Vigneronnes" (2022) by Guillaume Bodin, which honors and highlights the work of women who are deeply committed to nature.

Traveling through France, Italy, and Switzerland, the filmmaker sheds light on the importance of organic and biodynamic farming for both the health of the body and the land.

Several renowned female winemakers, famous both in Switzerland and internationally for their commitment and the quality of their wines, will present their work through their presence and a tasting of their wines on Saturday, March 8. This will also be an opportunity to celebrate the growing presence of women in the wine industry, which was long dominated by men, and to recognize the daily efforts these winemakers invest throughout the seasons to care for the land. The screening and discussion will be followed by a wine tasting, local product tasting, and a sales area.
